Invitation from Mrs F.E Walters – I shall be opening my garden at the above address to the Lustleigh Garden Society (members only – no dogs) on Sunday 31st July, 2pm – 5pm.  All funds raised will be split between Cancer Research and the Devon & Cornwall Police Compassionate Fund.  I thought it appropriate to invite any of your officers and their partners should they wish to attend too.  They will be required to show their police identification at the gate.  Admission is £3.00 per person and includes entry to the garden followed by a cup of  tea and a piece of homemade cake, meringues or scones.  Parking is on a hard stand at the top of the drive, overflowing on to a neighbouring field.  Guests will have a short walk down the driveway to the garden entrance.  I do hope you will be able to join everyone.  They are worthy causes.

Trustees Welcome and Goodbye

March sees the the departure of our NARPO- Plymouth Trustee Brian Rundle. He has served the Fund well during his tenure both on the Management and Finance Committees, his counsel and input was greatly valued and his presence at these meetings will be greatly missed. Thank you Brian from your fellow Trustees and members of the Fund.

With one Trustee departing we then welcome his replacement Vince Bedford who will represent Plymouth NARPO. The Fund is very fortunate to have willing members who put themselves forward as Trustees of the Fund and will welcome Vince at his first meeting in April 2016
